Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams was the daughter of a U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up to be a resident of Castle Rock Colorado. In the late 1990s, she started to act and dance professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a documentary mock film that focused on beauty contests. Her screen debut was a huge success with the role of an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet moved into Los Angeles where she began professional acting. In the 1960s, she appeared in popular films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho as well as Living It Up.
