Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first few minutes. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia dominated Aspen to beat her an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her record in her amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC21 was her final fight with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pounding and grounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the opening round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. She fought her first big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
