Zendaya was 11 when she went vegetarian after seeing a slaughterhouse while on the trip with her dad. PEOPLE says that Zendaya told, "I found it horrifying to see the entire animals that were being crammed inside, awaiting for their time to die." It was shocking to me to use this method to obtain meat. She's been eating a mostly vegetarian diet ever since.
